The UN humanitarian agency's latest weekly report showed an increase of
2,000 Syrian refugees sheltering in Lebanon, putting the total number of
Syrians sheltering in the country to 26,000.
The United Nations
Relief and Works Agency's (UNRWA) report said these refugees are
receiving aids from the agency and its Lebanese partners, most notably
the Lebanese Higher relief Council.
The report also mentioned the
presence of around 9,000 Syrian refugees in the eastern Bekaa region,
whose registration process with the UNRWA was started earlier this week.
