UN observers visited the Damascus suburb of Kesweh for less than five minutes, and also visited the towns of Korin and Fayloun in the province of Idlib where regime forces opened AA gun fire at residential areas in their vicinity.

Assad’s forces killed at least 40; 26 fell in the province of Homs, including 21 in the massacre of the neighbourhood of Shammas in the city of Homs where regime forces targeted unarmed civilians.

The regime’s violations of the cease fire continued, as they conducted arbitrary arrests and sweeps in the town of Salhiya and opened heavy fire in the city of Boukamal in the province of Deir Azzour, raided the neighbourhood of Remaila in the province of Raqa under heavy fire, opened random heavy fire on the city of Idlib, conducted arbitrary arrests and sweeps in the Ammaliya area in the city of Aleppo, and shelled the city of Rastan in the province of Homs.

In the province of Hama, regime forces raided the village of Kafar al-Toun and the city of Latamna amid heavy fire, shelled the town of Shizar, and opened random heavy fire in the cities of Halfaya and Hama.

In the capital, regime forces opened heavy fire in the neighbourhood of Jobar, conducted arbitrary arrests and sweeps in the suburbs of Htaitet al-Turkman and Deir al-Asafir amid heavy fire, shelled the suburbs of Sergaya and Daraya, and opened heavy fire in the suburb of Douma.
