-A martyr fell and tens of other civilians got injured in one of the most intense nights in Homs. The martyr is Izaldeen Farhan Al Kurdi; he was martyred when a mortar bomb fell near him.

Events on ground:

-Homs and its families underwent a very brutal night. The bombardment targeted most of its districts till the early morning hours.
Some of the districts bombarded are:
Al Qusour and Al Qarabees districts: Regime's forces stationed on Al Gardenia tower and in the military college in Al Waer district used mortars and tanks to bombard these 2 districts. 3 houses have been completely destroyed.

-At the city center, the Shabiha (thugs) stationed over the police command center and Al Muhandeseen building opened fire heavily, targeting Al Souk Al Athari Souk and Al Hamdeyye district. More than 10 mortar bombs fell on these areas too.

-Al Khaldeye and Jouret Al Shayyah districts were bombarded by more than 15 mortar bombs. Houses and shops were targeted. Helicopters were also spotted flying at low altitudes over these neighbourhoods.

-Areas of Bab Amr, Kufr A'ae, and Al Sultaneyyeh were bombarded too. The orchards of Bab Amr districts were also amongst the areas targeted by the shelling.

* Note that all these atrocities and violations are occurring despite the presence of UN observers in the city of Homs. Also note that there are several districts completely besieged by regime's forces, who allow no one to enter or leave it.
