|| Field Conditions in Hama and its Suburbs ||
¤ Hama City:
There was concentrated security presence in al-Qusour near Abdulmu'een Qatrameez School and Road 30 this morning. Regime forces raided several residential buildings, one of which is on Road 9. They also set up a checkpoint near al-Qasam al-Kharijy Roundabout in al-Qusour and thoroughly searched passersby and cars, asking for people's IDs.
Security forces also cleaned al-Falah Mosque this morning to get rid of traces of the crime they committed against unarmed people there yesterday. Some people saw security forces planing mines in al-Hamedeye Park (which used to be a cemetery). There were also snipers positioned on tall buildings.
Despite security force presence, there were massive anti-regime demonstrations in several neighborhoods, including al-Hamedeye, Bab Qibli, al-Manakh, Junoob al-Nakthe, al-Sheikh Anbar, and Kazo.

al-Dahreye:
Assad thugs arrested local pharmacist Wesam Rafe', who is of Palestinian descent.

al-Mukhayam al-Filasteeny (Palestinian Camp) Neighborhood:
Yahya Hasan al-Qatan, age 51, was killed this morning when security forces stormed the bakery he works at in Harbnafse village, where they executed him for giving bread to families in need. He was married and is a father of five children. He is originally Palestinian and lives in the Palestinian camp in Hama.

¤ Hama Countryside:
Qabr Fedda:
Today, regime tanks, military machines, and fully-armed regime forces were sited near the entrance to the town. They were looking for army defectors.

Hamadi Omar Village:
Adnan Saqr al-Ibrahim, age 16, was arrested in the Mashaa' al-Arb'een neighborhood of Hama during an arrest campaign carried out by regime forces.
He is from Hamadi Omar village and is an 11th grade student in Hama city.

Tayebt al-Imam:
A few days ago, Assad regime forces arrested college student Sahwan Naeem al-Sahwan from Tayebt al-Imam.
Despite the pain people feel and siege of the city, the people of the city held an ant-regime demonstration after their nightly prayers denouncing the acts of the Assad regime.

Lahaya:
Assad forces stormed the city today and raided and arrest people at random.

Qal'aat al-Madeeq:
Assad forces in an armored vehicle raided the Western part of al-Munshaqa neighborhood and the agricultural roads surrounding it in search of activists.

al-Hwaiz:
There was a massive protest after afternoon prayers in support of Qabr Fedda and other disaster-stricken villages.

al-Ramle Village:
Many people fled the village today after military reinforcements were brought to the checkpoints in the area and regime forces threatened and scared people.

Hayaleen :
Assad forces opened heavy gunfire at people's houses, which led to a state of fear and hysteria. People from Hayaleen who passed through checkpoints were arrested.

al-'Elileyat Neighborhood:
Assad forces and thugs planted a bomb near al-Falah Mosque as people were praying Isha prayer which damaged the physical structure of the mosque. Two people were killed and several were injured as people exiting the mosque were fired upon on May 9, 2012.
