Damascus is
aching and with it Latakia; the terrorist acts of the regime will only fuel the
revolution.
Demos were
many today as news of the Damascus bombs were pouring in; they started with a
demo by Adnan Maliki School around 12:00 which was attacked by cars and buses
of security who chased after students.
The
independence flag was raised during a demo in Qnainas that condemned the bombs
in the capital; it was followed by a student demo in Owieneh. Students of
Abu-Bakr and al-Wahda schools protested in Jableh.
Later two
separate demos took place in Antakia Street; one was near Zat al-Nitaqain
Schools, and the other was organized by Sharif al-Radhi School students.
Last night
rebels in Owieneh hanged the revolution flag on the car of one of the regimes
informants. In Slaybeh and as security were not keeping an eye on the area
rebels brought down a banner of Assad’s near Olabi Café.
Freedom
fliers were distributed last night in many areas of the city, and a revolution
flag was raised. The flag was also raid in Dwerkeh village on its school around
4:00 in the afternoon.
The road
near Ugarit Square was blocked by security today with security cars and a fire
truck. 8 security members arrived at Talaa Camp today and many snipers topped
its roof and the roof of a nearby Petrol company.
A fire broke
this morning near Salma police station.
A helicopter
was seen flying over al-Sherdoub forest before heading east.
An ambulance
was seen racing though Sheikh Daher into 8th of March Street heading
to National Hospital while escorted by security.
This morning
around 11:00 a house in Ashrafiyeh was raided by a big number of security
members, and in Jableh Bustan Istanboulli in Draibeh area was raided and
members where seen digging in the ground for unknown reasons.
17 year-old
Ahmad Farousi was released; he’s from Antakia Street but was arrested in
Owieneh.
Ali Haj Omar
was arrested in Jableh at his real estate office in al-Imara area.
