Anti-regime demonstrations took place in neighborhoods of al-Hasakah city in solidarity with the afflicated and besieged cities, demanding the freedom, arming the free syrian army, overthrowing the regime and executing Bashar al-Assad.

Security barricades and checkpoints are still deployed within al-Hasakah province.

Activists Aamer al-Hayes and Abdul-Azzeiz al-Deiri were released Sunday in al-Hasakah city after more than 70 days in prison.

On the other hand, a third year science student Isma'eil Muhammad Ali was arrested in ar-Raqqah city when security forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests against students.
He is from al-Hasakah province and a college of science student in ar-Raqqah city.
